Field Operations: Grave Preparation at ANC

Field School students were assigned to seven different essential areas of the Arlington National Cemetery.  Noel Lopez and Kaitlyn Kinney worked with Field Operations.  They do many things at ANC, but the most important is the preparation of graves for burials.  They “open” the graves and set up chairs, pavilions and other items for funerals.

After the services end, the field operations team waits quietly out of site until the family departs, they return to close the grave.
