Living Ethnography 
Sailing is like golf to me- just one of those great things I never took up, but my good friend JKF (first woman I ever took out at Virginia Tech) loved sailing with her husband. She stopped after he died and the boat got wrecked. My uncle Peter Bartelloni, M.D. has a boat himself and years ago sailed in a race from Rhode Island to Bermuda. He almost got washed overboard. Glad that he no longer races.
